CA Supply Chain
At [Your Store Name], we are committed to ethical and responsible sourcing. In accordance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657), we disclose the following information regarding our efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking from our direct supply chain:
1. Verification
We evaluate and monitor our suppliers through direct communication and internal assessments to ensure they meet our ethical sourcing standards. At this time, we do not use a third party for formal verification.
2. Audits
Our supply chain is subject to informal, internal audits. We may request compliance documentation but do not currently conduct unannounced or third-party audits.
3. Supplier Certification
We require suppliers to confirm that the materials used in our products comply with laws regarding slavery, human trafficking, and ethical labor practices in the country or countries in which they operate.
4. Accountability
We expect employees and contractors to uphold our code of conduct. Any violations related to labor practices or human rights may result in termination of contracts or employment.
5. Training
While we do not currently provide formal training, we are working toward implementing education for internal teams on identifying and mitigating risks related to human trafficking and forced labor.
We are continuously working to improve our sourcing practices and ensure our supply chain reflects our values of fairness, sustainability, and human dignity.
